Problem description I am unable to edit catalog items in the Catalog Editor as they are greyed out.
Solution
Below is the workflow that will allow to resolve this issue.
As shown in the below image, we can see that the catalog items in the Catalog Editor are greyed out so cannot be modified.
Search for the variable “_BB_DATASET_ORGANIZATION_DG_LOCK” in the Configuration Variables dialog box and change the value from 1 to 0; “If set to 0 or undefined (default), you can add/edit the Organization-level catalog types, catalog entries, and settings in the Company Dataset. If set to 1, you cannot add/edit Company-level catalog types, catalog entries, and settings in the Company Dataset”.
After changing the value of the variable, we should be able to edit catalog items and they should no longer be greyed out as shown in the image below.
