Disabling the backward compatibility window dialog box in OpenBuildings Designer

Problem Description

How to disable the backward compatibility window dialog box even after checking on the “Don't show this warning again” box?

Solution

Please follow the below steps through which you can easily disable the backward compatibility dialog box.

1. Open the Configuration Variables dialog box in your OBD.
2. After that search for “TF_NOCOMPATIBILITYWARNING” config variable and edit it.

3. When the Edit Configuration Variable dialog box appears enter new value as “1” and then hit on OK.

4. After that in the Config Variables dialog box under the TF_NOCOMPATIBILITYWARNING we can see in the expansion the value is set to 1 and then again click on OK and restart your OBD.

5. Finally, after restarting when you open a file you will no longer see the backward compatibility dialog box.
