Background

A Container can be used when you want to move Assets. The Move wizard will allow you to create new or use an existing Container and put assets into it. Then you can move the Container to any other place and unpack it.

Using the Move Wizard you can move employees and the assets linked to them, or the contents of selected rooms, in a single action. You can move these assets individually, or by creating selection sets of employees or rooms. You can choose to move the assets non-graphically using a Container.

Solution

In the Destination window, select a destination and click Finish. A dialog box opens asking, “Are you sure you want to move items to container?”. Click Yes. If a Container already exists at the destination, the Select Container dialog box opens. You can either select an existing Container and click Add To, or click Create New to move the contents into a new Container. After clicking Create New, or selecting a container and clicking Add To, or if no Container exists at the destination location, the Properties dialog box opens. Click on the Attributes tab.
