Problem Description

When using the "Create External Area" tool it produces no results and causes an error and a program crash.

Solution

The exception log shows something wrong in javascript code rather than in Bentley Facilities Space Planner. The minidump file refers to C:\EC-Apps\FaPla\Prog\speedikon_arch_v8i\system\bin\gebaeu.dll as the originator of the exception. It is advised to disconnect this Speedikon tool and see if the "Create External Area" tool still results in crashes. The noted Speedikon tool should be able to be loaded through .cfg or .ucf files. It is suggested to have the administrator disconnect it since this is seems to be causing the error vs. Bentley Facilities Space Planner itself.
