Background

This problem can be caused if a previous build does not uninstall properly.



Because of this, it may also be found that none of the instances are being uninstalled.

Solution

This issue occurs if the MSI files from the previous build are not removed. Using Windows File Explorer navigate to this location: C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{1CE8C2EE-18EA-3420-91C0-B06915DFC26F}v10.10.00.197 (in our example build 10.10.00.197 needs to be removed).

Delete the MSI file in that folder. It would also be good to remove all the folders related to this build in that location. If you again open Control Panel you should find that the unwanted build was removed.
