    Regulation 25A in Part L for Renewable Energy Assessment

    Overview

    Regulation 25A requires, prior to the start of works, analysis which considers the feasibility of decentralised energy supply systems, cogeneration, district or block heating or cooling, and heat pumps.   

    Method

    To confirm that alternative energy systems were considered in your designs, in Part L 2021, go to the Project tab, you can find the Regulation 25A menu as below:

    Type of analysis should be selected as England Building Regulation Part L 2021, or else this would not be reflected in the report. 

    Upon running the calculation, the implementation of 25A should be reflected at the Compliance report, as below:
