Problem Description

I have created a new report definition and I want to share it with other users however I can’t find where it is stored.

Steps to Resolve

The report definition is stored either in the active file where the report definition is created or in any of the dgnlib files defined by MS_DGNLIBLIST variable.

There are two ways to share a report definition:

1. Copy the dgn file where the report definition is created, change its extension to dgnlib, and move it to the location defined by the MS_DGNLIBLIST variable. You can also configure the variable such that it points to the new dgnlib file location. 

2. Another way to share a report definition is to forward the dgn file that contains the report definition and import the file from the Reports dialog.
