Changing render material of the Sprinklers

Problem Description

How to change the render material of the sprinklers that are already placed in a model? 

Solution

Please follow the steps below to accomplish this.

  1. At first, upon opening the file you can see that the sprinklers are placed along with its default color.
  2. Then select one of the Sprinkler and open the Part/Family Editor tool.

 

  1. Upon opening that from the Part View dropdown select the "Rendering Properties".

 

  1. After that you can select any of the rendering materials as required (in this case red was used) for the sprinklers and then clicked on Commit Changes button to save it.

 

  1. Finally, after saving you can see that all the sprinklers have been changed to the desired material you have selected.
