Problem

I want to apply a global preference (say, MS_REF_VISEDGE_ATTACH_STATE) for all the users in my ProjectWise Managed Configuration.

Solution

In ProjectWise Administrator, in a predefined level CSB, create a new Variable and enter the name as required (MS_REF_VISEDGE_ATTACH_STATE, in this case) and provide the value as required (Dynamic, CachedAutomatic etc.)

Please make sure that the variable is locked. If kept unlocked, the changes might not get applied. Save the variable and then apply the CSB in the required folder in ProjectWise Explorer from the folder properties.
