Problem

If a user working on a project where multiple types of sections are needed including some customized ones what is primary is to have all required mdb and XML files at his/her system level. But after doing this thing while Importing and Exporting SDNF, in the section mapping table, all the other sections that come from the newly added mdb and XML files are not included. Here for every SDNF workflow, the table needs to be updated which is a bit of time time-consuming process.

Solution

To avoid the updation every time here are some steps that need to be done,

1. Go for SDNF Import or Export. In the pop-up window for both the Edit Mapping Table can be found for found. Please click on that,

2. Then the Name Data Exchange window will come up. From there click on ‘Update Section’.


Then the updation process will start.

3. Now when the process ends click non save button.

After that, a pop-up window came up giving an option to save it as a .exm file. Please save it. Click on OK.
4. Then the next time while importing and exporting what is needed is to click on ‘Load Mapping Table’ and select the correct .exm file.

The all section will be loaded in a moment.
