Problem

If you change the color assigned to a Space in Family/Parts editor, the color of existing Spaces is retained. Changing the Parts Definition of the existing Space in Catalog Editor does not change the color either.

Solution

You can follow one of the workflows below:

1. Change the Color assigned to the Part Definition and use the “Update Space” tool with “Use Active Level and Symbology” checked.
2. Create a new Part and change the Part Definition assigned to the Space. For multiple Spaces, use the Schedules dialog and edit the Part Definition values.
