 Product(s):OpenBuildings Designer
 Version(s):CONNECT Edition
 Area:General

Problem Description

This issue is user-specific, and it is seen that it only happens a few times in one particular system. Here the user wants to undo a single element which is not required at that but it undone everything that had been done so far in that file, which will cause the loss of several works. But here is a way by which this can be fixed very easily,

Resolution

1. Close OpenBuildings Designer.

2. Use Windows Explorer to browse to your prefs folder, by default found under C:\Users\your.name\AppData\Local\Bentley\OpenBuildingsDesigner\10.0.0\xxxxxxxx\. This location is defined by the configuration variable TFDIR_PREFS.
You can also check the preferences location by choosing File > Settings > Configuration > About Configuration in CONNECT Edition or Workspace > About Workspace in V8i.

3. Rename the \prefs folder to "\prefs123" or similar.

4. Restart OpenBuildings Designer.

This will generate a new set of preference files which may help resolve your issue.
