Overview

Using key-in is often considered the fastest w.r.t. using any tool from a ribbon. For creating a plan view here is a precise way to use it with key-in to cut down most of the manual efforts.

Method

1. Use key-in ‘floorplan byfloor’.
2. Then the Create Plan window will appear.

3. Now select the required Drawing Seed from the dropdown (here we have selected ‘Arch – Floor Plan’). And from the view range specify the back, Cut, and Forward ranges.
4. Now click anywhere in the screen then the ‘Create Drawing’ window will appear. From there the file name and other required data can be given. And then if click on okay then a new drawing model will be created.
