Problem

It is often required to know the exact no of elements pleasant in a particular DGN file as well as the number of each type of element. But there is no easy way to do so. Selecting all elements could show us the total numbers but it did not give any idea about how many different types of elements are present.

Solution

But here is a key-in by which anyone could get to know this information,

‘ecx items count’

After using this Key-in in the message center it would show the total number of elements and what is the number of each type of element.
