Problem Description

How to change the Heat Flow associated to the partitions in your building energy model?

Solution

To change the Heat Flow Type, or disregard internal heat transfer, open the properties section of a partition wall. 

 

If the heat flow type is selected as Adjacent room, that defines the wall would allow heat to flow through to the adjacent rooms. (To learn more about adjacency, refer to the wiki article here).

Should you wish, you can manually overwrite this via various options as below:

In order to disregard or ignore internal heat transfer, select None from the above dropdown list.
