Due to project requirements we need versions of both OpenBuildings Designer and AECOsim Building Designer that we cannot seem to find on Bentley's Software Downloads page. How do we go about getting these?
In order to acquire an installer for any version of OpenBuildings Designer or AECOsim Building Designer not currently available on the Software Downloads page, otherwise known as an "archived build", you will need to contact the Building Products support team. You can use the Bentley Support Portal > Technical Support page to create a new Case for this purpose.
Note that these previous versions are either unsupported (V8i or older) or removed for potential security reasons (CONNECT Edition thru Update 8). Therefore, the support team will request that you provide specific reasons for needing these archived builds. Once those details are available they will place an internal request for the applicable installer(s) on your behalf. Note that this may take some time, so please be patient as your request is processed.
