Overview

This Wiki outlines where the design settings for the ASHRAE calculations can be found in OpenBuildings Energy Simulator.

Method

Upon opening any of the ASHRAE calculations you will find that they automatically complete, and there is no Design Data menu as in the CIBSE Gain calculation.

This is because the ASHRAE calculations take this data from a slightly different source - this can be found under Data Managers > HVAC Systems.

Here you will find the Steady State heat gain and loss settings:

Any changes here will be automatically adopted by the ASHRAE calculation, and included in your results.
