Problem
I would like to transfer preferences from one computer to another, for example to have the same user interface settings. How can I achieve this?
Solution
To use the preferences from one computer to another, you can simply copy this folder below from the first computer to yours, into the same location. The path depends on which version of OpenBuildings Designer you are using; if CONNECT Edition select folder 10.0.0, if 2023 choose 23.0.0. The existing folders in the computer you want to update should be renamed. This way you have the option to go back to them, rename them and continue to use them.
