How to remove the Default model from a file?

 Product(s):OpenBuildings Designer

Problem:

I have a file containing more than one model from which I want to delete the Default Model. How do I do that?

Solution:

Follow the steps mentioned below to delete the Default model from your file.

1. Before deleting then Default model, you need to identify the Default model. For that, open the file on OpenBuildings Designer and then open the models list.

2. Click on the models to find out for which model the Delete Model(s) button remains greyed out.

For example, in the above image, Model_01 is the Default model as the Delete Model(s) button remains greyed out when clicked on the model name.

3. Now, as the Default model is being identified, you can remove it from the file by clicking on File > Save As > Options > Filter > Models.

4. Thus, the Select Models dialog box opens and from there, you have to deselect the Default Model. Then click Ok and save the file. In that way, the model(s) which were not selected, don't get saved into the new file.
