Service packs are available!

It pays to keep your Bentley Hevacomp V8i software up to date!

There are a number of reasons why this is a great idea; Service packs/updates can contain:

• New data items, such as device data
• Regulation changes, such as the PART L regulation
• In the rare case of an issue, modification will only be available through a service pack
• New information valuable items such as the Wiki Viewer (coming soon!)

We do try and make it as easy as possible to update your software - there is a "Check for updates" on the opening menu of your software - this will compare the currently available service pack to the version you are running and will indicate whether you need to update or not, and there are specially created articles on the Wiki and that we have emailed to a great number of users with details on how to do this.

It usually only takes a few moments to download and apply the latest service pack. Why not check now to see if you are running the most up-to-date version of you software? You can also see up-to-the minute information in the Messages from Hevacomp section.

¹ Note: While the Bentley Hevacomp V8i will always provide forward-compatibility, that is to say your current project will function with the update, it may not be the case if you try to load a project into an older version of the software. Some programs such as Design Database may even block you running a newer project on an older version of the software.
