Room outlining

I am still trying to get to grips with Hevacomp and I have come up against a weird issue that I am sure is down to something I have unwittingly done.

I am trying to trace the room outline on my dxf file's (in CAD input section) and each time I try to the line is refusing to snap to any point on the drawing. The issue is intermittent as well so it will snap to one point but then not to the next, I tried loading in a new dxf file and the issue remains. Has anyone come this issue before I am, pretty sure it is going to be something simple?

  • Hi Chris,
The most likely reason for this is selecting the wrong scale when importing the DXF for the floor. The software needs to know if the DXF is in M or MM and selects the most appropriate by default. If you are changing the scale before importing then you are probably changing to the incorrect scale. If this is the case, delete the floor and re-import the DXF keeping the defaults.
