Floor Level Correction -

I have added a new DXF file representing the second floor, but have inadvertently entered an incorrect floor height. Is there any way that I can re-enter the correct floor height?.

  • Hi Chris,

The workflow will be slightly different in Netsys but the same principle applies. I would suggest the following:

*Create a new floor and bring in your DXF at the correct floor height

*Go to Floors>Copy Services from another floor, and copy the services from the completed floor at incorrect height, to the new one at the correct height.

*Once all the data has been copied, go to Floors>Delete Floors, and delete the original incorrect floor.

In relation to your issue deleting floors; I have tested this here and I believe I see what you mean - when you click on Floors>Delete floor, a window saying 'OK to Close?' is displayed. This should not be occurring and I will log this with our developers. To get around this simply click on cancel and you will be brought to the 'Select floor to delete screen', as below.

  • Changing Floor Height - I have read and understood this action for CAD input, however, my problem has arisen using Netsys pipework, I have imported a DXF file and inadvertently used the wrong floor height, I cannot find any method of rectifying this and to make matters worse, I have tried deleting the floor level and when I do so there is no response.
