As the title suggests please advise location. I have had a hard drive failure, but am able to retire files luckily.
Please advise where the custom files are and are called so I can back them up and reinstall.

For custom reports the filenames you need are as shown in my previous link, i.e.:
usrrep.tem (usually at C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Hevacomp V8i\Hevacomp\) stdrep.tem (usually at C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Hevacomp V8i\Hevacomp\Reports) ConnectRpt28_1.rpt (usually at C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Hevacomp V8i\Hevacomp\Reports) ConnectRpt29_1.rpt ConnectRpt30_1.rpt ConnectRptxx_1.rpt
For your custom cable data it is slightly different, as detailed here. The custom cable filenames you need are in a file named NEWCAB.NDX, located at C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Hevacomp V8i\Hevacomp\IEE\Cables. If you drag the NEWCAB.NDX file into notepad you will be able to see the relevant filenames.
Just to clarify on Shane's information the filename is the last item on each line of Newcab.ndx and is surrounded by quotation marks as shown in bold in the example below:"PVC Custom Cable","Single-core PVC Custom Cable (PVC single Custom)","PVCCUSTOM1"
