Hi,
My name is Mina, I am a new user and although I really like V8i I am encountering difficulties regarding drawing walls. Can walls be copied to different floors on different CAD drawings similar to TAS's command copy walls to floor?
Kind regards,
Mina.
Hi Mina,
I'm not familiar with TAS so not able to suggest a direct comparison with the command you mention.
However once elements are placed in an AECOsim Building Designer or MicroStation 3D model they can be selected and copied to any location in the model.
In the case of AECOsim Building Designer walls once copied up to a new floor level can be resized graphically or via DataGroup Explorer.
As a new user I recommend you look at:

· AccuDraw commands do not seem to work in my Design Database window,
Mina - There is no way of copying just the walls, but you can copy a whole floor - including DXF's - onto another floor by using the Copy floor function. If you wish to change the DXF for a floor, you can use the defaults option to do this. This functionality is discussed in the program manual, which you can access via the ? icons dotted around the software, or through pushing F1Regards,Duncan
