I am using Hevacomp Design Database to calculate Heating and Cooling Loads for a simple 5 Floor building using Heat loss and CIBSE gain however I want to know if there are any other options for more exact gains, a way I found this can be achieved is introducing new data in Global Settings - Gains but I would have to copy the gains from another software and then compare the results to see which are more accurate.
Is there a way of calculating heating and cooling loads with more accurate gains without a outside source?

Mina - the heat loss and heat gain programs use industry standard methods (CIBSE) in their calculations. Providing as much information when creating rooms will increase the accuracy of these calculations - as you have found, you can do this through the Global program, but you can also enter this data as you are adding rooms/zones to the project. The various extra gains that can be introduced can be controlled more accurately through 24 hour profiles.
