EPC certificate EPCgen Error (401)

I am trying to Lodge an EPC, I have entered the Accreditation Company and my Registration code. Hevacomp does not produce a XML file but I get an file which has the following error - ERROR(401) - Bad Request: "Software is not on the list of accredited software for lodgement"

My Accreditation Company and my Registration code work with other programs.

    Sorry for late response, I did not receive notification of your email. I use both Version 25.06.9, copyright Hevacomp for 2010 building regulations and Copyright 2014 Bentley Systems – V8i SS1 SP1 for 2013 building regulations.
    I was just trying to generate a XML on Copyright 2014 Bentley Systems – V8i SS1 SP1 when I get the error, have just tried 25.06.9, copyright Hevacomp and this works producing a XML file.

    You need to get for v26 software updated to the latest version. If you consult this document, there are 4 important points to consider and then links to the download instructions and installation instructions. If you carefully work through these, you should be updated with little difficulty.

    Once completed, the message should read Copyright 2015 Bentley Systems V8i SS1 SP3 (V8i SS1 CP1 (08/15)) and with that you should be able to generate XML's again.

  • Duncan, We have tried accessing the v26 software update but there seems to be an issue this the website and we can't access the download. Is there another way of receiving the download? Regards Stuart
  • Hi Stuart, I'm not sure what issue you are having exactly, but firstly please note that only your site admin will be able to access the downloads. If you have done so and still cannot download, then please try our older method at:

    appsnet.bentley.com/myselectcd

    (Select Product = Hevacomp, and Files posted within = All)

    Should all of the above not assist, then could you please post a screenshot of the problem you are coming across?

  • Shane, The older method works just fine problem solved, but you need to do something above current method as it does not work and it has taken me three days to get these files. When you go into support and press, "Go to Personal Portal" all you get is a page saying "web page not available". See attached images.
