Hello,
I would like to ask a question about the setting floor for each room.
Could you please let me know how create individually the thickness of a floor for each room.
Conditions folowing as;
1. no using a file of roof.dxf
2. possible or impossible to change individually the thicknes of a floor for each rooms within the icons of CAD input or MAT.
Please reply to help me asap.
Yes, you can change your internal or external floor properties by applying any of the existing Fabric types. These can be viewed in the Design Database > Fabric menu, as below. Here you can also edit the existing materials or create your own. Once the Fabric data has been set up as you require, you can apply the Fabric type to your constructions in CAD Input.
In relation to not using a Roof.dxf - I am unsure as to why this would be the case? Does this building not have any exposed roof?

Hi Shiro,
No problem at all. The workflow you mention above should work fine, or if you have a number of different surfaces that need to be changed then the Global option would be useful, e.g.:
If you are unsure as to whether the surfaces are then defined correctly, you can view each rooms properties by using Print:
You will need to go into the CAD Input > Roof/floors menu to set up your intermediate floors and ceilings - there you can specify your ceiling and internal floor fabric types. When you press the 'Set Up Intermediate floors' button this tells the software that there is heat transfer between these surfaces. The below section of the manuals should help to clarify, please see below.
