How do I set the ground wall?

I have two queries about Hevacomp design database input. 
 Could you tell me your opinion about following queries? 
 
 1. How do I input the exposed wall in the ground (ground wall) within "Fabric data"? 
 In my opinion, I have to set the wall information (ex. Concrete etc.), and then I have to set the earth information (ex. Earth coarse gravelly). 
 2. I think that the earth temperature is different from the outside temperature. 
 Is Hevacomp reflected about the diffirence of temperature during calculation of fabric heat load used by "Heat loss" or "CIBSE gain"?

Yu - To accurately model a basement wall you need to do the following; 
 
1] From the Mechanical Design menu (opening menu of the software), locate and run the U-VAL program. Enter the data for your underground surface and take a note of the resulting U value. 
 
2] Go into Design Database and into the MAT program. Build up your construction in there (Exposed Wall). Once complete, use the results from the MAT program with the U value from the U-Val program and create a new Fabric in the Fabric program based on this information.
