I have used the shadows module to add neighbouring buildings.
I can see the difference it makes with the heat gain calculation.
but in the part L, is the shading taken into consideration?
at the moment, some of the rooms I am looking at still do not pass criteria 3, even though there is significant shading.

The Shadows program will not have any affect on your Part L results, as shading data specific to SBEM is required for this. A guide on how best to enter this data can be found here.
