Glazing G-value and Solar gain factors

Hello:

If I enter the values for a new glass, for Designing purposes (Heat Gain), could anybody tell me if the only thing that matter are the Solar gain factors, but no the SHGC. That is, I can vary the SHGC but the results will not vary if I leave the same Solar gain factors ... is this correct?

Thanks for your response.

I read it, and for Designing purposes, I think that entering only the SHGC and SC doesn't make any difference, what it's important are the Solar gain factors, no matter which value you enter of SHGC/SC.

Jose - It is important to make sure all of the fields in your glazing data are defined correctly.
