I have 2 questions:
1. is it normal for the window blinds database to cause the program to crash when it is selected?
I get run time error 53.
2. my second question is about blinds and part L
I know there is already "Glazing Data" article, which gives some details
but how do I change the transmission factor for the different types of blinds?

Hello there - I've just checked my installation and have no trouble accessing the Blinds program. Can I check what version of the software you are using, and also is the path to your project particularly long?
With regards Transmission Factors for Part L; Blinds are considers as part of the Glazing Construction as a whole, and not a separate item. Please see this article for details.

A quick follow up to this, for the sake of other users. Remoted onto users systems, checked installation - the installation was made up of mismatched objects, with update 3 applied, but only content pack 1. Content pack 1 leaves the Blinds data in a different location and this was remedied manually.Advised user to install Content Pack 2 to installation to ensure all items were up to date.
