Netsys Ductwork

HI there,

I have created a set of complex ductwork runs for the North, East, South and West of the building on separate routes never joining.

When I am in the supply setting.

When I use the isometric view and use the check system button for say the west duct routes the ductwork that is highlighted in green is a combination of supply and extract, which also includes some of the north east and south ductwork.

How accurate is the isometric system check view?

Is this just a glitch?

Any help would be must appreciated.

Kind regards,

  • Kieran - the Check button should only be highlighting sections that are connected to your system marker. Is it possible that sections of the system are drawn in close proximity to each other and you are seeing that as being superimposed?

  • Hello Duncan,

I have looked at the isometric view at all different angles, for different floors.

So is there any way the isometric view system checker green highlighted sections can show the wrong ductwork?

Below is an attachment of Level 3 and 4 of the building with the system checking the North Supply. But as highlighted duct work which isn't connect in the east and west sides of the building are also highlighted in green.

The image below is a check system image for the supply ductwork to the west side of the building.

As the yellow highlighted areas show both the supply and extract to all four different sides of the building are highlighted in green?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Kind regards,

  • Kieran - This looks to me very much like a glitch in the draw routine. I suspect that sections are being highlighted due to how they are internally numbered. I've done some testing on a project of my own, and can assure you the check is working correctly, it is the way the highlight lines are being drawn that is incorrect. I will be raising a ticket for our dev team to examine this.
