Hi,
I have a number of different roofs for a building.
When I click on the add roof drawing button, I can see the older roofs.
can I delete these, or can I delete the cache roof files in the hevacomp folder?
alternatively, how can I edit these cached files in autocad?
Thanks

Further to my colleagues reply. The Cache files created by the software are not DXF compatible in any way, and cannot be edited in AutoCAD. They are created from the original DXF files purely to ensure that drawing information is kept within the project folder. Many engineers keep their DXF files apart from the project folder and it is important to have this information available if the project is moved to a new location. If you wish to change the background DXF you should modify the original drawing then re-import it into the floor using the Defaults>Defaults screen. If you do recreate a DXF file then please ensure that you use the exact same co-ordinates/positioning as the original file.
