Heat gain due to LED Lighting

The default % convection figure for lighting heat gain is 70% and I believe this would be appropriate for unvented recessed fluorescent fittings.  What would be the appropriate figure to use for LED lighting, would 100% be right?

  • Roy - While it is outside of our aegis to provide engineering advice, our research would suggests that 100% would be a reasonable figure. However, you should note that the final decision is entirely down to yourself.
