Multiply Roofs - best practice in hevacomp

Hi, 
 
 I am looking at a group of 4 adjoining buildings. 
 each building building has a different roof, with a different height. 
 
 because of the roof heights, I have chosen to have 4 different roofs. 
 however, when I do this, some of the roofs are not joining up perfectly. 
 Also, have used " Extend walls to underside of roof and correct room volumes check box" 
 However, some walls, do not extend up high enough (due to an adjoining roof) 
 Should I try to somehow have one roof?

Hi there - Making an assumption that your roofs are all above the same floor level, then you will see issues when setting up exposed roofs as unless you discount the rooms covered by the other roof sections, then they will be set to internal surfaces. 
 
I would generally recommend that a roof that covers a floor level should be drawn as one roof drawing, regardless of any height changes. Height changes can be managed easily by using raise edges/points to place a roof section in the correct position. 
 
You will likely also find the roof easier to manage if its on one drawing.
