Dynamic Simulation - CIBSE TM 52

With the TM52 reports, which weather source are we meant to use. will it still work with the Meteonorm weather source or do we have to use the CIBSE weather source.

The results in the TM52 report are as set out in the CIBSE TM52 guide. The below explanations should assist:

He: Criterion 1 - Hours of exceedance – hours ∆T≥1°C. This should not exceed 3% of occupied hours. In Hevacomp this column shows the total hours exceeded.
We: Criterion 2 - Daily weighted exceedance – should not exceed 6 in a single day. In Hevacomp, this column shows the number of days that We exceeds 6.
Tupp: Criterion 3 - Upper limit temperature - ∆T shall not exceed 4°C. In Hevacomp, this column shows the number of times ∆T exceeds 4°C.

For further information I would recommend referring to section 6.1.2, (a), (b) and (c) which defines the above criteria in detail, and section 6.1.2 which defines ∆T and Tmax.

On the Simulation TM52 results output, can you clarify exactly what the results are showing. For example, are the figures in the He column the hours the criteria are exceeded, meaning we need to do the percentage calculation to check that the hours don't exceed 3% of the occupied hours in the Occupied column? Then, are the figures in the We column the actual calculated value of We, so if the number in the column is greater than 6 we fail? Finally, is the number in the Tupp column an hours figure, meaning that if there is anything other than 0, we exceed +4K and thus fail.
