Using Hevacomp design database (and CAD input) I have built a large 4 storey 'complex' building from the 1700's containing around 200 rooms, to get some idea of heat losses throughout the building. If you choose to use these methods you do so at your own risk.

The methods in the document describe how to reposition rooms after an incorrectly positioned DXF drawing has been replaced with a correctly positioned one. The routines do not reposition DXF drawings.

RE: Floor Locations

Dean,

There is a feature that is hidden in Design Database that allows you to reposition a floor (the rooms) over a DXF.

You can download the Bentley tutorail here:
We do need the DXF's to be in place, however.

If you can the DDB project set up with the DXF's in place, then please PM me and we can pick up the project and see about moving the rooms.
