I am struggling to find the faults with my HWS Netsys model. I keep getting different errors all over the system and some don't even make sense.

One that keeps occurring on the same spot is 'spurious connection found', even though I

RE: Netsys HWS Pipework Errors and Notes

Keiran

First of all, please consult this document regarding debugging Spurious Connections. These are usually caused by connecting return pipes into flow sections that are not connected to the main flow system.

With regards your pipes showing up as 8mm and 10mm, this again suggests you have a disconnected flow system that was previously connected and sized, but is no longer connected. The methods described in the Spurious Connection document can help here. Examine the pipe numbers for those sections, and then examine the rest of the schematic for duplicate pipe section numbers. If you locate them, then that indicates the 8 and 10mm pipes are not connected. If you can size your system, again look for the section numbers in your results and see if they are showing up as 8 and 10mm. If not, again, this indicates disconnected sections.

You can use the Isometric view to check your system, too. If sections do not change colour after checking the system that's a strong indication they are not connected.

Please try these methods first and let me know how you get on.

Regards,
