Hi Shane.
I have not contacted you long time..
An engineer of our groupe has created a project,
however some issues have been occured following as;
Hevacomp have been installed on different pc, but we are facing some issues.
Opening Hevacomp the RSS Reader window opens automatically beside the main menu, but the message is:
Cannot connect to internet, please check your network!
Suggestion: Restore Network connection and restart RSS Reader
Clicking Configuration from the main menu, and Regional default, the location cannot be changed.
Trying to select Europe instead of Asia the message is:
Run-time error “9”:
Subscription out of range
And the software is closed. I can select different countries in Asia, and different locations, but not different continents..
On license management tool the server name is:
selectserver.bentley.com
Clicking test connection the message is :
SELECTserver and Activation Key verified.
Activation status is:
Hevacomp Dynamic Simulation Activated
Hevacomp Mechanical Contractor Activated
Hevacomp Mechanical Designer Activated
Hevacomp Mechanical System Builder Trial…
On the Design database, the button building data is not working, giving the message:
What can I do to have the software working?
Could you please let us know any advices for us?
Best regards,
Shiro
Shiro - Regards the blank RSS feed window - this could be due to it being blocked by your firewall, or it could be a manifestation of the further issues you are experiencing.
Bentley Hevacomp is designed to run on UK English or US English versions of Windows. The errors you are experiencing seem to fit with the software being run on a non-UK/US English version.
If you consult this document, you may be able to change your Windows settings to get around these issues.

Hey Shiro
Even with the language and region to English there could still be a problem running on Japanese versions of Windows. I don't believe that the software has ever been tested on that version. Assuming, however, that the software should be running correctly, then we may have an installation issue that is causing problems. To rule that out, can you please work through this document? This will give you a clean installation of the software and enable us to rule out an installation issue.
Thanks,Duncan
