The first floor has a wall height of 3.58 (first floor level of 4.79 and second floor level of 8.37) However, when I view the 3D model, there is

RE: wall heights

Hi Tom,

Upon inspecting the model my main concern would not be with the graphical wall heights in the 3D view, but rather how to set up the ceiling/floor adjacencies to ensure accurate heat flow between floors. It is going to be very difficult to set up intermediate floors/ceilings due to the order that the floors have been drawn.

By deleting the non-sequential floors (25-BASEMENT, 250-GROUND, 251-FIRST, 252-SECOND, 253-THIRD, 254-FOURTH, and 4-Fourth), the main block of the building will remain, and its intermediate floors/ceilings can be set up correctly.

You would then need to re-enter the above floors in order. Then, when setting up intermediate floors/ceilings for this wing, make sure to exclude the entire main block set up previously (i.e. 28-Basement, 0-Ground, 128-First, 228-second, 328-Third). All floor adjacencies should then be correct.

RE: wall heights

Hi,

That will make things a bit more challenging but you may be able to get around this by using the exclude rooms option, as below. I would really need to see the project to give more specific advice however. Could you please exit Hevacomp, zip the project folder and upload using this link?

it says that you can only deselect floors from the top floor downwards or from the bottom floor upwards.

RE: wall heights

Hi,

Please use the 'Setup intermediate floors/ceilings' function (located in CAD Input > Roof/floors) to set up the adjacencies between these floors. This will remove all gaps between your floors.
