It's been some years since I used Hevacomp and am now considering purchasing for my mechanical team. Can someone explain to me if it is now possible to consider diversity and variable flow in the piped and ducted systems?
If for example, we consider a large variable speed CHW system the terminal units and valves will be sized based on 100% load but will apply greater and greater diversity through the system back to the pumps and the chillers. Is it possible to build this into the system sizing or does it have to be "fudged"
Thanks

Hi Nicholas,
It is not possible to directly specify variable flow at outlets, however diversity of pipework systems is now taken into account in accordance with BS EN 806-3. Please find further details about the calculation method here.
