BREEAM HEA04 requires calculations for PMV and PPD. Can we do this in Hevacomp?

As far as I was aware, the PMV and PPD were calculated by the BREEAM assessment score and reporting tool, as mentioned in the HEA 04 document, "One credit - Thermal Modelling", point 4:

"For air conditioned buildings, the PMV (predicted mean vote) and PPD (predicted percentage of dissatisfied) indices based on the above modelling are reported via the BREEAM assessment scoring and reporting tool."

You should be aware, however, that Bentley Hevacomp have introduced an extra set of reports in the Design Simulation Frequency Calculation to produce Criterion 1, 2 and 3 results for TM 52.

Keith - the PMV and PPD are not calculated through the software, but rather appear to rely on methods discussed in ISO 7730. This article I found online may help with this. Note that this is a third party article and is not associated with Bentley Systems.
