BREEAM HEA04 requires calculations for PMV and PPD. Can we do this in Hevacomp?

Duncan, I can’t see any obvious method of responding to this within the forum so I’m just replying to your email.

I was told by a BREEAM assessor that we needed to give them the PMV/PPD figures.

I’ve checked the BREEAM reporting tool and it requires the PMV and PPD number to be typed in. They are not calculated within the BREEEAM tool.

Keith - the PMV and PPD are not calculated through the software, but rather appear to rely on methods discussed in ISO 7730. This article I found online may help with this. Note that this is a third party article and is not associated with Bentley Systems.

Duncan - Just following this through, are Bentley intending to produce the PMV and PPD values to your reporting? We are getting requests for this more frequently and need to be able to provide this service to our clients particularly with BREEAM 2014.
