I have several different zones for heating and ventilation. One of the zones is going to have mixed mode ventilation. We have Windcatchers that do adequate cooling and ventilation for 8 months of the year which means that the AHU's will not need

RE: Plant Schedule

Hi Matt,

PartL is an interface to an SBEM calculation. SBEM gets all it's schedule information from the NCM database, both produced by BRE. Users have no direct control over schedules for a standard PartL calculation other than the Room and Building type that you select for each room. The scheduling is taken from the NCM Database based on Room and Building type and this cannot be changed.

To get the type of detail you mention you would need Dynamic Simulation where users can define various room and plant annual schedules.

If you are a registered Energy Assessor you may also wish to get advice from your scheme provider on defining non standard HVAC Systems.

Regards
I am trying to do this in the PartL.

Can you clarify which software you wish to do this in? Are you talking about Design Database - PartL or Dynamic Simulation?
