Connect Run time error 53

Hi Matt

An Error 53 usually indicates that the software cannot find a file its looking for. Are you running the project on the same machine you used yesterday?

Matt - thanks for the project - I had no trouble running it. It calculates correctly, no errors. This is making me think that there is something wrong with your software installation.

Can you check a couple of things?

First of all, look in C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Hevacomp V8i\Hevacomp and see if you have an IEE folder?


And can you let me know the version number displayed on the opening menu of your software (when you select your user name)

Folder contains 3 sub-folders Boards/Cables/Help Files and a Grouping17.IEE file

Version of Hevacomp I'm running is V25.06.9
My colleague can open and calculate this project all ok

I think the problem here is that you are running V25.

If you located the C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Hevacomp V8i\Hevacomp folder on your computer then that indicates that you do have a V26 installed on your computer as well. Can you run the project in V26 and see if it works ok?
