Just a query in how to input heat interface units into hevacomp within a Part L SBEM assessment. Currently I have inputted a plant room as its own zone with the system chosen as LTHW Boiler and Nat Gas with the DHWS also same as the heating source. The rest of the zones have also been selected as the same as the Plantroom sources heating and HWS.
Is this the correct method or is making the plantroom zone a district heating system a better method when inputting Heat interface units? Any info on this would be great

Thanks Duncan, just to get everything right currently I have changed the plantroom (zone 7) heating system and fuel type to District Heating do I change the rest of the zones also to District heating for the system and fuel type also?
HIU isn't a generator, but rather an 'interface' to District Heating - if the rest of the zones rely on the HIU then they should also be set to district heating. If there are individual generators in the other zones then they must be specified.
