I can&amp;#39;t really see that the Windows update would remove items that are required by programs to run (the installer database would stop that) but I also can&amp;#39;t think of any other process that would remove them. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On the new machine...are you logged on as administrator with UAC turned all the way down during the installation process? UAC appears to have been tightened up recently, and that could stop components being created.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, can you check in&lt;/p&gt;
