Hi Claire - this sounds like a database corruption, and could indicate a bad write back - which was likely the cause of our previous correspondence - or the software had been closed down incorrectly, for example, turning off the computer with the software running. I can attempt to repair the project, though I cannot guarantee success. If you would like me to look at it, exit the software, zip up your project folder and use this link to get it to me.With regards "constant error codes" - we would need to know what they are to provide assistance. This may also help diagnose if there is a problem with the installation or possibly even with your computer. I note you suggested a loss of wifi signal may have had something to do with your earlier problem?Regards,
Duncan Brown
Claire - I've examined the project. A whole column of data that stores wall references is completely blank. This isn't something that we can repair. I also noted that the location of the column within the database was incorrect. Can I check what version number of the software you are working on?For reference:Thanks,
I'm in the 99.9% range of pretty sure its the computer, because we just don't get issues like this with other users. There is the occasional problem with a room deletion hiccupping the polyline files, but this is a lot more in depth - its a failure of the database write back, and that can only realistically happen if there is a problem with the hard drive, connectivity issues, or if the software is shutdown incorrectly (reboot, etc, with project open) - I'm assuming that you aren't shutting down/rebooting the computer with the program open, so that only leaves potential hardware issues.Just do double check a couple of things:Whereabouts are you storing your projects? Is it to a local drive or network drive, and do you store them all in the same sub-folder?Do you have space on your hard drive? Can you recall any other errors? and did an error occur before the 3058 error? Are you using a virtualized version of the software or running it from a remote desktop?A lot of questions, I know. Thanks,
