Hi Claire - this sounds like a database corruption, and could indicate a bad write back - which was likely the cause of our previous correspondence - or the software had been closed down incorrectly, for example, turning off the computer with the software running. I can attempt to repair the project, though I cannot guarantee success. If you would like me to look at it, exit the software, zip up your project folder and use this link to get it to me.With regards "constant error codes" - we would need to know what they are to provide assistance. This may also help diagnose if there is a problem with the installation or possibly even with your computer.
