Hi There,
I've created a project in Netsys CWS which is a multi level project. I closed the project and when i come to re open it I get the error above. I'm using windows path/ file method, and the project is in a location which isnt protected or write only.
The green tick is available and the window shows a project is there with the correct number of floors etc.
Have I set up the system wrong or am i doing something wrong??
Hi Duncan,
I've checked and the folder isn't set to read only, I've set it to read only and un set it to try and i still get the same error message
Many Thanks
Can you move the project to your local hard drive and see if you can access it from there?
Duncan Brown
I've set up the project as a new one and deleted the original project data, I've located the new project on the desktop, which isn't ideal but gets me moving on my project.
Thank you for your help, I may return to this when i have more time, but for now have to get this project underway.
Kind Regards
Where did you create the original project? What was the path?
This is the path of the project: -
C:\Users\Wayne\Google Drive\2 ***************\Projects\J0115_Hollycroft_Kirkstall Rd\3 Drawings\Hevacomp Files
We really don't recommend saving things to virtual drive spaces. There can be issues with synchronising, and that could treat your project as being read only. If you intend to generate projects on your own hard drive I would recommend creating a Projects folder in the root of your C or D drive, and using that.regards,
Hi,
It isn't in a virtual drive, its a physical drive on my c: which just happens to be called Google drive and gets backed up to the cloud.
As i said for now i'll keep it on my desktop.
